Google account data use
GWS Auth is a personal Google connection project operated by Daniel Radnedge. This page describes its OpenMuse integration, hosted privately on a NAS.
Access and use
OpenMuse requests read access to Gmail and Google Calendar to find messages, display mail threads, and show events when its owner uses those features. Sending mail or editing calendar events requires an additional Google permission grant and an in-app review of each action.
Storage and processing
OpenMuse stores the Google OAuth tokens encrypted in its NAS database. It may cache retrieved mail, events, imported attachments, and chat history there. Relevant account data may also be processed by the configured AI model and conversation service when the owner asks OpenMuse to use it. Google account data is not used for advertising or sold.
Disconnecting
The owner can disconnect Google in OpenMuse. This removes the stored OAuth token and requests revocation from Google. Previously cached mail, events, attachments, or chat messages may remain in the NAS workspace until separately removed.
